Dr. Farhat’s path to medicine began in a small village in Lebanon, where her passion for helping others took root. In 1988, she moved to Madrid, Spain, to attend the prestigious Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Facultad De Medicina, graduating with her medical degree in 1994.
After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center and earned her board certification in internal medicine.
A Clinic Built on Connection and Care
In 2000, Dr. Farhat founded Jana HealthCare in its current Bay Ridge location, driven by a mission to make quality care accessible and personal. She speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic, allowing her to connect with the diverse community she proudly serves.
As her patients opened up about their struggles with weight and confidence, Dr. Farhat saw the need for a more holistic approach. She became a certified health coach, adding personalized weight management to her medical practice.
